Resources

As we wade through these little adventures life puts us on, I will add some of the resources we have found helpful. Check back often for updates!

Advocacy and education, financial assistance, emotional support – it’s all here. Their mission:

RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association, established in 1974, is dedicated to ensuring that all people challenged in their family building journey reach resolution through being empowered by knowledge, supported by community, united by advocacy, and inspired to act. (RESOLVE.org)

If you know someone who struggles with infertility, you might be trying to figure out what to say, or how to help them. This article will give you a bit of insight into their experience, and what you can say, or AVOID saying, to comfort them.

FINANCIAL RESOURCES

EMD Serono, a pharmaceutical company that manufactures many of the drugs prescribed to assist in fertility treatments, has created a discount program to offset out-of-pocket costs for self-pay patients and military veterans. It is very simple to apply, and you receive your discount in a matter of days. The program is well known with specialty pharmacies, and easy to use. We used it – it was quick, simple, and saved us several hundred dollars.

This list, compiled by RESOLVE, is comprised of nonprofits that provide grants and financial assistance to pay for medical treatments and/or fertility medications.
